Sunshine Law and Citizens

Missouri's Sunshine Law, also referred to as Missouri's Open Records and Meetings Act, or Chapter 610, is the tool Missouri law gives us to help hold our public officials and governmental agencies accountable.  As the law states, it is the public policy of Missouri that the Sunshine Law should be interpreted broadly in favor of open and transparent government.

If you need help getting information from a governmental agency, we can help.  We know how to draft Sunshine Law records requests that will help get you the results and records to which you are entitled.  Unfortunately, many state and local agencies try to interpret records requests and other portions of the Sunshine Law in ways to frustrate your right to get at public information.  The Clubb Law Firm, LLC is the ONLY law firm in Southeast Missouri wililng to file a lawsuit to hold public officials accountable.  We can fight for your rights.
