Meet Attorney Laura Clubb

Laura Clubb has more than 22 years of legal experience and is proud to be in a position to help people of all walks of life. Laura, who practices with her husband, J.P. Clubb, focuses her practice on family law litigation and employment discrimination. She has handled hundreds of cases involving adoption, divorce, paternity, child custody, modification of custody, child support, modification of child support, guardianship, and orders of protection. Laura believes her clients are part of The Clubb Law Firm team and she enjoys working with them through the sometimes difficult and stressful world of family law. She is a problem-solver who always works hard to achieve the best outcomes for her clients and the children they love.  
 
            In addition to family law, Laura files dozens of Charges of Discrimination each year for clients who have been treated unfairly at work for reasons beyond their control – their gender, sexual identity, religion, disability, race, and age. She represents clients at the administrative level in unemployment hearings and in state and federal court. Laura’s clients trust her with their futures and she fights for them every day.

Personal Life

Laura grew up in the small town of Marshfield, in the beautiful Ozarks of Southwest Missouri, where her parents taught at the local high school for thirty-five years. She lived in the country with her parents, two brothers, and an array of dogs. Laura earned her undergraduate degree from Southwest Missouri State University in 1993, and her Juris Doctor from the University of Missouri-Columbia School of Law in 1998. While in law school, Laura was the Editor-in-Chief of the Missouri Environmental Policy Review and she was awarded the Thomas E. Deacy, Jr. Prize for outstanding work in Trial advocacy.
 
In 2007, Laura and her husband, J.P., moved to Cape Girardeau with their three children. They founded the Clubb Law Firm to serve the Southeast Missouri region and the Cape Girardeau and surrounding communities. Laura served for eight years as the Director of Girl Scout Day Camp and led two troops. She loves her family and children and the Clubb clan fur babies – Butterbeer, a two-year-old coonhound-terrier mix and cats Audrey and Tiger. In her spare time Laura enjoys reading, spend
